Obituary

Alan D. Karper, 60, of Sicklerville, NJ, passed away on November 24, 2022, with his loving family by his side.

Alan was born in Elmer, NJ, and lived in Blackwood, NJ before moving to Sicklerville 23 years ago.  He worked as a truck driver for many years.  A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Alan had a heart of gold.  He had a deep love for all animals, especially cats.  Lovingly known as "Cat Daddy", he devoted a big part of his life to rescuing feral cats.   Al truly gained a second family volunteering with Humane Animal Rescue Trapping and Transport. He was very proud of his grandchildren and loved spending time with them.  He was an avid bowler, gardener, and Philadelphia sports fan.  He will truly be missed by all that knew and adored him.

Beloved wife of Anona Karper (nee Pino).  Devoted father of Colleen Karper (fiancé John Bonelli) and Kristen Hluchy (Zach).  Loving Pop Pop of CJ, Gwendolyn, and Oliver.  Dear brother of Lawrence Karper. Alan was predeceased by his mother and father, Annette and Robert Masklanski.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, December 3 rd from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM.
