Albert B. Arruda, 86, of Williamstown, NJ passed away peacefully on May 31, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

Albert was born in Pawtucket, RI, and lived in Portsmouth, VA before moving to Williamstown.  He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Arruda was a man's man. He enjoyed woodworking and watching football.  When his children were young, Al enjoyed coaching their sporting events.  He was an avid fisherman all of his life and he passed that tradition down to his sons and grandsons.  Up until recently, Al eagerly waited for their annual fishing trip with his boys.  Although he spent time with his sons, he always had a special place in his heart for his daughter, Kathy.  He lovingly would joke and call her "the warden".  She was right by his side every step of the way.  Al will be deeply missed by his family.

Beloved husband of 65 years of Carolyn B. Arruda (nee Brooks).  Loving father of Kathy Singh (Inder), Albert "Blaine" Arruda (Gail), and Allen "Brooks" Arruda (Natalie Cannuli).  Loving grandfather of Nina (Ryan), Stephanie, Joshua, Bryce (Erika), Paige (Henry), Melanie, and Melissa (Christopher).  Treasured great grandfather of Charlotte, Madeline, Amelia, Emmie, Lara, Kristany, Mackenzie, and Noah.   Dear brother of Mary Lou Alling (Robert).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Saturday, June 4 ^th from 10:00 -11:00 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main St. Williamstown, NJ, where a time of sharing will be held at 11:00 AM.  Burial will be in Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
