Obituary

Andrew J. "Drew" McClave, Jr., age 36, of Treasure Island, FL, formerly of Williamstown, NJ, passed away suddenly on December 23, 2022.

Drew was an avid fisherman, whether it was on a lake, from the shore, or in the deep sea.  Anyone who knew Drew, knows how much he loved to fish and about his remarkable collection of every fishing rod, fishing reel, or tackle needed for any kind of fishing.  From the time he was a child growing up on a lake to his final days, he was out on the water casting a rod almost every day. Throughout his childhood, Drew often fished with his dad or went to the beach with his mother and sister.

Drew was a dedicated Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers sports fan and he enjoyed working out and playing poker.  Drew enjoyed eating healthy and cooking steaks or his fresh catch of the day on the grill.  With a passion for knowledge, he loved history, talking politics, and was learning how to speak German.  Drew was a hard worker; working construction jobs by day and was a full-time skilled bartender at night. Above all, Drew was a kind hearted, gentle giant, who will be missed by all who loved him.

Beloved son of Dolores "Dee" McClave (nee Bradford) and Andrew J. McClave, Sr. (Dorothy).  Treasured brother of Ashley McClave-Torres (Thomas) and Daniel McClave.  Dear nephew of Patricia Quintana, Deborah Hunt (Tom), Michael Bradford, Tracy Bradford-Hughes (the late Tom), the late Edward Bradford Jr., Geryl Johnsey (Fred), Richard McClave (the late Nancy), and Amy Lawrence (Bo); cousin of Nicky, fishing buddy Angelo, Matt, Katelyn, Ryan, Tommy, Christina, Chrissy, Julie, Jamie, Jennifer, Richie, Samuel, Bobby, and Leila.  Loving boyfriend of Dawn Randazzo and close friend to Simon Beadle.  He was predeceased by his grandparents Dolores Bradford, Edward Bradford Sr., Betty McClave and Robert McClave.  Friends and family will remember Drew as someone who was always there for them, cracking jokes and making everyone smile. He will be greatly missed and truly loved by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, January 3rd from 9:30 – 11:30 AM at St. Mary's Church/Our Lady of Peace Parish, S. Main St. & Carroll Ave., Williamstown.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:45 AM.  Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing.
