Anna May Lathrope, (nee Dilks), age 85, of Pitman, NJ, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Anna May was born in Hilltop, NJ, and was a lifelong Pitman resident. She was an active member of the Cross Keys United Methodist Church in Williamstown where she served as the Treasurer of the Trustees, sang in the choir, and taught Sunday school. She was a Warder for Eastern Star for many years and a member for 53 years. She also attended Friends meeting Friends monthly. She enjoyed camping, traveling, playing pinochle, and watching the Phillies and Nasar in her spare time.
Beloved wife of the late Morris V. Lathrope, Jr. Devoted mother of Joyce Hosko, Morris Lathrope, III (Maria), and Lynn Allmendinger (the late John). Loving grandmother of Kelly Lathrope, Jessica Hosko, Morris Lathrope, IV., Jake Hosko (Danielle), and Adam Lathrope. Treasured great-grandmother of Macie Wiseley. Dear sister of Linda Stewart, the late Wesley Dilks (the late Grace), the late Malhon "Mackie" Dilks (the late Helen), the late Bowman Dilks (May), the late Marvin "Bake" Dilks (Myrna), and the late Mary Kroliczek (the late John).
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday, January 28 th from 9:00-11:00 AM at Cross Keys United Methodist Church, 1644 N. Main St., Williamstown, NJ, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Cross Keys Methodist Cemetery, Williamstown. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anna May's memory may be made to Cross Keys United Methodist Church at the address listed above.
