Anne M. Byrne, age 90, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on August 13th, 2026.

 A devoted teacher for many years before her retirement, she dedicated her life to educating and inspiring others. She was known for her compassion, kindness, and her generous spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand and make a difference in the lives of those around her. She had a heart for helping others and, alongside her beloved husband, traveled the world providing assistance to those in need. She was a caring and selfless woman who believed in making the world a better place. 

Beloved wife of James Byrne. Dear sister of Helen Scanlon and Francis Scanlon. Loving aunt of Anne Sommers, Mary Schoen, and many others. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Thursday, August 20th, from 10:00 AM- 11:00 AM, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1739 Ferry Ave., Camden, NJ. Memorial Mass will begin at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA., at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Anne’s name to Sacred Heart Church/School at the address listed above.
