Ashanti E Ryer, Jr. age 27, passed away December 21, 2025 in Woolwich Township, NJ.

Born in Brooklyn, NY to Tricia Alexander and Ashanti Ryer, Sr. "Shanti," as he was affectionately known, was a smart, funny, talented, quiet young man. He could be surrounded by friends or be just as happy on his own playing  video games, driving around and listening to music.

Shanti loved his mother and brother and was fiercely protective over them, they were 3dahardway.  He was a loving son, brother, nephew and grandson.  Shanti was preceded in death by his grandmother Claire Canning and grandfather Sydney Canning.  Shanti is survived by his mother Tricia Alexander, father Ashanti Ryer, Sr., brother Mathias Alexander, uncle Lennox Alexander and a host of cousins, aunties, godsister, godbrothers and friends.
