Barbara Jean Butler (nee Clowney-Smith), age 72, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on January 29, 2023.

Barbara loved cooking and baking.  Homemade cookies and pies were a staple in her kitchen.  Not to be forgotten was the cold glass of her special sweet tea. She loved entertaining friends and enjoyed spending time with her family especially her many grandchildren.  Barbara volunteered for many years as a full time Pioneer in the Sicklerville congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and considered it a privilege to assist others in their personal bible studies.

Barbara was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Robert Victor Smith, Jr.  She is the beloved wife of the late Dudley Roy Butler.   Devoted mother of Latishe DeCosta (Dino), Christopher Ford, Zara White (Joseph), Robert Smith III, and Vicki Smith.   Dear sister of Dwayne Clowney (Vanessa), Gerald Clowney (Renee), Jacqette Evins (Bobby), and the late Adolphus Clowney.  Adored Grandmother of Valene, Marlon, Lacia, Dino Jr., Juliana, Delante, D'Artagnan, McKenna, Kyra, Joseph, Philip, Jeshua, Robert Smith IV, Caleb, Christianna, Christopher Jr., Casara, Christalynn, Cameron, Christalia, and Callie.  Great Grandmother of 9.  Barbara is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday, February 11 ^th from 2:00 – 5:00 PM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 2:00pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1754 Erial Clementon Rd, Sicklerville, NJ 08081. A virtual option to view the memorial is TBA.
