Barbara M.
Easterday
December 18, 1940 – September 12, 2021
Barbara May Easterday (maiden name Birney) passed with her husband by her side in the morning on Sunday, September 12th.
Born on December 18, 1940, Barbara leaves her husband, Bill Easterday, 3 sons (Dave, Billy, and Ray and wife Christy), 7 grandchildren (Carly, Tori, Chad, Sammy, Kylie, Ramsey, and Thomas), and 2 great-granddaughters (Isla and Sloane).
Barbara and her sisters (Loretta and Caroline) grew up in Philadelphia and spent summers down in Wildwood. After being voted cutest couple their senior year of high school, Barb and Bill married, moved to Norfolk, VA while he served in the Navy, came back to Philadelphia, and settled in Williamstown, NJ where they have lived ever since.
Throughout her life, Barb was always looking to help other people through her time as a teacher's aide in the local schools, craft coordinator at Juniper Village, and active member at her church, First Presbyterian Church in Williamstown. Her family and friends will continue to remember her as a selfless and witty woman with a heart of gold. We hope she rests peacefully and imagine her at her favorite vacation spot in Hawaii.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, September 17 th from 10:00 – 11:30 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, NJ, where a funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 430 S. Main Street, Williamstown, NJ 08094 or to Samaritan Hospice, 3906 Church Rd., Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054.
