Carmen M. Zayas, age 63, of Franklinville, NJ, passed away on July 4, 2025.
Carmen was born in Brooklyn, NY to Miguel and Juanita Lebron. She spent many years in North Philadelphia, Blackwood, NJ, and Henderson, NV before recently moving to Franklinville. She formerly worked for the WIC program in Philadelphia and TD Bank in Blackwood.
A true lover of life's simple pleasures, Carmen had a passion for elephants, the comfort of a good book, listening to Elvis, Prince, and the daily ritual of cleaning her home as she listened to music. Carmen kept a meticulously clean home. She also enjoyed the cooking channel and HGTV. Football and baseball were more than games — they were seasons filled with excitement, especially when cheering on the Eagles, Phillies, Chiefs, and Angels. Sundays were loud and full of laughter, particularly when it came to the friendly rivalry with the grandkids during a game.
But above all, family was the heartbeat of Carmen's life. Whether it was a holiday meal, a backyard barbecue, or a spontaneous get-together, nothing brought more joy than having loved ones gathered close.
