Charles Johnson, 80, of Beverly, NJ, passed away on February 14, 2023.  Born in North Bellingham, Washington State, he lived in Livingston, TX before moving to Beverly 20 years ago.

Mr. Johnson was a US Navy veteran and also served in the US Air Force.  He worked for NASA and also worked as a government contractor for several agencies.   Mr. Johnson worked for the Ironworkers Union Local #84 in Houston, TX before retiring.  He was a member of the American Legion Post #1000 in Trenton, a member of the Aldine Texas Lodge # 1412 Free and Accepted Masons, a member of the Scottish Rite and was a member of the Shrine.  He enjoyed riding and working on his motorcycles.

Beloved companion of 20 years to Patricia Ross.  Devoted father of Charles Johnson, Samuel Johnson and Christine Kuczewski.  Dear brother of the late Bert Benson and the late Bob Kanuse.  Loving grandfather of 15 grandchildren.

Services are being held privately at the request of the family.
