Obituary

Charles "Les" Roun, Jr., age 87, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on October 28, 2024.

Les was a long-time resident of Clayton before moving to Williamstown in 1962.  He worked as a fork-lift operator for Owens Corning in Glassboro for many years.  After the closing of Owens Corning, he continued his career at Kimble Glass.  Les also had his own lawn business for the past 20 years.

A staple in Williamstown, he could often be seen walking dogs, cutting grass, and driving his truck.  He was an all-around good neighbor.

Beloved husband of the late Bonnie M. Roun (nee Johnson).  Devoted father of Bridget Roun, Billie Ann Snoke, the late Andy Roun, and the late Jack Spurling.  Loving grandfather of Stacey Russell (Lee), Shannon Snoke (Cameron), and great grandfather of 4. Dear friend and neighbor of Gail Turner.  He is also survived by his K-9 companion, Betty White.  Les was predeceased by his sisters and companion of 12 years, Pearl Rein.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday, November 2nd from 10:00 – 11:30 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM.  Burial will follow in Brotherhood Cemetery, Williamstown.
