Charles E. "Chuck" Shover, age 60, of Wenonah, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on September 7, 2021.

He is survived by his wife Joann (Weaver) Shover; sister, Lisa Anderson (Gary Morrill- Carpenter); brothers Harry (Karen), and Robert (Anita); and godmother, S. Elaine McBride; as well as nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his birth father Charles E. Martin; parents, Theodore Sr. and Nancy Shover; and brothers Theodore Jr. and Vance Shover.

Above all else, he loved Jesus Christ with all of his heart, soul, mind, and strength.  Chuck's life was a true testimony of the transforming power of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Chuck was an active member of the Victory Assembly of God in Pittsgrove, where he served on the worship team and at the food pantry.  He was an addictions counselor, touching many lives with his work through Addictions Victorious and visiting crisis units in the area.  He also ministered to patients as a chaplain at Inspira Medical Center.

Chuck had a love and talent for gardening. He worked in many capacities at the Heritage Family Farms, including growing and delivering food to food pantries in the South Jersey area, as well as maintaining an extensive produce and flower garden at home.

Chuck was a humble man with a servant's heart. He was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, September 25 ^th from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Victory Assembly of God, 4 E. Finley Road, Bridgeton, NJ 08302, where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM.
