Hammond, Daniel and Beverly (nee Wright), age 79, of Erial, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on September 8, 2021.
Daniel and Beverly were happily married for 59 years. They were longtime members of Open Bible Baptist Church in Williamstown and were very active in children, youth, and young adult ministries. Dan and Bev enjoyed family gatherings, going on annual vacations with their children, and, after retiring, going on cruises and traveling together.
Dan retired from Holman Enterprises as an auto mechanic and drove a school bus for First Student in his retirement years. He was a deacon at Open Bible Baptist Church for many years and enjoyed playing the trumpet.
Bev was a teacher as well as a nurse and worked at Surgical group of South Jersey at the time of her retirement. She enjoyed sewing and playing the violin.
Dan and Bev shared a wonderful life together, full of love, happiness, and laughter. They raised three children and were loving and dedicated parents and grandparents. They had a lot of love to give and didn't think twice to open their home and their hearts to many others.
Devoted parents of Joy Campina (Luis), Dean Hammond (Michelle), and Sharon Elliott (Jeff). Loving grandparents of Rebecca Campina Vezza (Anthony), Kaylee Hammond, Brent Hammond, Nathan Campina, Michaela Campina, Christopher Elliott, Paige Hammond, and Megan Elliott.
