Obituary

Darlene "Elsie" J. Fox, 61 of Millville, NJ passed away suddenly on April 3, 2026, from unexpected medical complications surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Elmer, NJ on September 7, 1964, to her predeceased parents Barbara Scull and Norman Fox. She was raised in Salem and Cumberland Counties, and she enjoyed living most of her adult life in Gloucester County. As one of four daughters she was predeceased by her sister Deborah Fox, and she is survived by sisters Nancy Fox and Mary Fox-Santini. In addition, several surviving loved family members included Nephew/Nieces, Mike Fox (2 children), Stephany Taylor (4 children), Samantha Taylor (3 children), Shania Bruce (1 child) and Harlee Bruce. She is also survived by her "Soul Sister" M. Palmer (son).

Elsie is known and will be deeply remembered for her steadfast love, unwavering loyalty, kindness and unstoppable drive. Always seeking and willing to share knowledge, spreading love, light and encouragement to anyone who entered her world. She was the definition of humble/humility, she navigates life with an immovable moral compass to "Always do the right thing". Filled with an instinctive protectiveness that quietly encased her loved ones.

Elsie retired from Wheaton Glass Industry after 23+ years of dedication, learning and growing through the company from the warehouse floor until she retired as the company's Top Regional Sales Representative. She often spoke about her "Wheaton Family" that left lasting impressions on her heart, recalling "all the families hard work, brainstorming sessions, laughs, tears, jokes and pranks to keep it fun, many joys and triumphs that bonded us all!"

Animal lover and enthusiast, she could never spoil her pets with too much care and love. Elsie enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, road trips, music, dancing and sharing her life's knowledge to help educate and elevate everyone around her.

In true Elsie form, her "Love and Light" will continue to shine through her GIFT OF LIFE organ Donation, giving three recipients opportunity to live their life's journeys through her selfless donation.

Following her wishes she will be cremated and no funeral services will be held. The family encourages all who knew and loved her to continue to celebrate her life and legacy through sharing joyful memories and all your knowledge with everyone, continuing to spread her Love and Light!!!
