David Alvarado, age 49, of Smyrna, DE, passed away suddenly on April 18th, 2023.

Born in Elmer, NJ, David was raised in Franklinville before moving to Smyrna, DE.

Dave enjoyed his time spent on the water in his kayak.  He loved to listen to music, watch Nascar, and was known to throw a mean frisbee.  Above all, Dave was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend.  In his passing, he gave the gift of life to four others through organ donation.

Beloved son of Carmen M. Alvarado.  Devoted father of Nicholas Alvarado.  Loving brother of Miguel Alvarado, Carmen Wainwright, Andrea Alvarado, Lidia Alvarado, Carlos Alvarado, Angelo Alvarado, Norma Alvarado, and Louis Alvarado.  Treasured uncle of Anthony Alvarado, Joann Wolfson and her son Todd Hollywood, Jr., Michelle, Tammy, Michael, Jenna, and Justin.  He is also survived by the mother of his son, Marialice Coombe.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday, April 24th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM.
