David H. McDevitt, age 56, of Williamstown, NJ, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on April 5, 2023.

David was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, his family moved to Franklinville, NJ, in 1974 and he attended Delsea High School.  He worked as a union carpenter for the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, local 1823 in Philadelphia, PA.  He enjoyed working on trucks, riding dirt bikes and motorcycles, and fishing in his spare time.  David was a big sports fan, he loved to watch the Phillies, Eagles, and NASCAR racing.  More than anything, David, idolized his children and grandchildren.

David was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Dolores McDevitt.  Loving father of Amber Shea (Fred) and Paul Laczo (Jess).   Devoted grandfather of Sean, Kayliana, Joey, Dezirae, Dominic, and Kara.  Dear brother of Theresa Jones (Rick), John McDonnell (Rose), and Daniel McDevitt (Cathy).   He is also survived by two lifelong friends, Jerry and Pat, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Monday, April 10th from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a memorial service will be held at 6:30 PM
