Dolly “Mary” E. Getchell, age 80, of Turnersville, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on October 20, 2026.

Born in Lansdale, PA, she lived in Souderton, PA for many years before settling in Turnersville. Dolly worked as a telephone operator for Bell Atlantic, which later became AT&T for 20 years before retiring. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and traveling, making treasured memories with loved ones along the way. She had a love for animals; her dogs and cats holding a special place in her heart. Dolly’s faith in the Lord was an important part of her life and provided her with comfort and strength. She had a talent for cooking and baking, and especially cherished hosting holidays; her home was a place where many memories were made.

Beloved wife of the late Eugene M. Getchell, Jr. Devoted mother of Jody Browne (Daniel). Treasured grandmother of Emma, Molly, and Sophie Browne. Dear sister of Ellis Keller (Mary), Joanne Moyer (Steve), and the late Charles, Chris and Rosie. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Friday, October 30th from 4:00 - 5:00 PM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM.
