Dr. Donald A. Farnelli, 86, a lifelong resident of Williamstown, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on April 24, 2021.

Dr. Farnelli was a graduate of Glassboro High School, Class of 1952. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Glassboro State College, where he ran on the track team.  He went on to earn a dual PhD in Psychology and Astrophysics. At the age of 46, he went back to college and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic. He sailed across the Atlantic Ocean on a sailboat using just celestial navigation. Dr. Farnelli was a professor at Rowan University for 52 years and was acknowledged as Rowan's longest standing professor. He was a NASA affiliate and enjoyed lecturing on their behalf.  He owned and operated Farnelli Chiropractic for 20 years before retiring.  He also owned and operated X-term, an exterminating company in the 1970's where he is fondly remembered by his customers.  Dr. Farnelli was a member of Open Bible Baptist Church.  He enjoyed hosting Star Parties for his college students, watching sports (especially the Phillies), going to his grandchildren's sporting events and musicals, and most importantly spending time with his family.

Beloved husband for 60 years of Joyce A. Farnelli (nee Clevenger).  Devoted father of Dr. Sandra Ray (Dr. Steve).  Loving grandfather of Chelsea-Lee Hanke (Joshua), Steven Ray, Breanne Baney (Dr. Clinton) and Samuel Donald Ray.  Proud great-grandfather of Lizzie, Josie, Emilia, and baby Baney on the way. Uncle "Donk" to nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. Dear brother of the late William "Bud" Farnelli (Tish) and the late Stephen Farnelli, Sr. (the late Anita). Loving son of the late Alfonso and Goldie Farnelli.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, September, 2, 2021 from 5:00 – 6:00pm at Open Bible Baptist Church, 1073 New Brooklyn Road, Williamstown, with a Celebration of Life service beginning at 6:00pm.  The Celebration of Life service will be held in honor of both Dr. Donald and his wife, Joyce, who recently passed away on August 23 ^rd .  No reception or meal will be offered flowing the service due to COVID.  The family is requesting all in attendance wear a mask.
