Dorothy F. Israel-Ackerman, of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on April 29, 2025.

Born in Philadelphia, Dorothy was raised in Camden, NJ and lived in Williamstown before settling in Boynton Beach, FL. She enjoyed her ministry Friends Needing Friends for over 30 years at Gloucester County Community Church and in her ministries in Boynton Beach.

Dorothy was predeceased by her first husband, Allen C. Israel. She is the beloved wife of the late Dr. William Ackerman.  Devoted mother of Judy Israel, Debra Israel, Rev. Robert Israel and Daniel Israel.  Loving grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 2.

Services will be held privately.
