Obituary

Edward P. Madrack, age 75, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on November 4, 2023.

Born in Kingston, PA, Ed lived in Berlin for many years before moving to Williamstown in 1973.  Ed was a proud US Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War.  He worked for South Jersey Gas in various positions before retiring as a survey coordinator in 2010.  Ed served the Cecil Athletic Association in many capacities while his children were involved in sports.  His love of sports continued while he and his wife were attending their grandchildren's sporting events; they are known to be their "biggest fans."

Ed enjoyed baseball, model cars and was a "jack of all trades" when it came to fixing and making things for his family.  He was artistic and enjoyed drawing.  With a love for baking Christmas cookies for his family and friends, he was known as "Eddie Crocker."

He had an unconditional love for his high school sweetheart "Lynnie."  They were inseparable and enjoyed traveling across the country together.  They were the shining example of what a marriage, parenthood, and family should be.

A quiet man, when Ed spoke, he made an impact.  His love and dedication to his wife, children and grandchildren will be remembered most of all.

Dear son of Mary A. Madrack and the late Edward K. Madrack.  Beloved husband of 55 years to Linda M. Madrack (nee Roberts).  Devoted father of Staci King (John), Todd Madrack (Michele), Amy Lysak (Michael), and Lara Burpulis (Nicholas).  Loving "Bub" of Max (Andrea), Jacob, Chase, Alexandra, Everly, Addison, Gregory, MJ, Shane, Callie, and Thea.  Dear brother of Gary Madrack (Joy Ann).  He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Wednesday, November 8th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 9th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM.  Inurnment will follow in the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
