Edward B. Pinkman, Sr. (Caraway)., age 78, of Sewell, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on May 22, 2022. Ed was surrounded and comforted by loved ones until the moment he passed away.
Edward B. Pinkman was born and raised in Northern New Jersey. He relocated to Southern Jersey where he worked for many years at Shore Memorial Hospital before retiring. Edward Pinkman owned and operated a private janitorial service company for over 30 years in South Jersey. When Ed wasn't working hard he had many hobbies which included exotic fish, birds and training dogs. He also enjoyed watching boxing and wrestling. Above all, he was a sincere devoted man of Jehovah God, always enjoyed and look forward to praying, studying the Bible, listening to spiritual music and worshiping our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! He was very caring, loving, and a dedicated family man. Ed always went out of his way to comfort, protect and provide for anyone in need.
Ed is a Beloved longtime companion of the late Althea Jones-Askins. Devoted father of Edward Pinkman, Jr. (fiancé Esther Sellu), Jacqueline Arango (husband Anaro) and Annette J Pinkman-Wyatt (husband Andrew), Step-father of Sheila Jones, the late Eric Jones, Jaime Askins, and Victor Rolls. Dear brother of the late William "Snookie" Thompson, the late Emmitt "Butch" Thompson, the late Ruth Ann "Tunie" Thompson, the late Patricia Thompson, survived by Jacqueline Anderson (husband Earnest), Annette Fullwood-Manns (husband Al), Josephine "Toffee" Richards (husband Johnny), the late Jimmy Caraway, Marion King (husband Lee), mother of his three children Myrtle Pinkman. He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who all love him very much.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday, May 28th from 10:00 AM– 12:00 PM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a service will be held at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in Cross Keys Methodist Cemetery, Williamstown.
