Edward E. Rich, age 82, of Franklinville, NJ, passed away on May 21, 2024.

Ed was a proud US Air Force Veteran and later worked as an aircraft mechanic for 37 years with Delta Airlines, before retiring.

He was a die-hard Philadelphia sports fan, but his most cherished sporting events to attend were those of his children and grandchildren. Ed was an avid reader, a history buff, a talented wood carver, and never missed an episode of Jeopardy. He also enjoyed hunting and was a true animal lover, especially his dogs Millie, Sophie, and Buddy.

Beloved husband of 57 years to Carol Rich (nee Basher). Devoted father of Eric Rich (Laura), Edith Ammon (Jeff), Danielle Taylor (Joe), Gina Fisher (Josh), and John Rich (Kelly). Treasured grandfather (Poppy) of Alyssa, Madison, Casey, Ava, Grace, Dominic, Declan, and Margo. He is also survived by many loving cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, May 28th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Clayton Baptist Church, 110 S. Delsea Drive, Clayton, NJ, 08312, where a service will be held at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in George Washington Memorial Park, Whitemarsh Twp., PA.
