Edwin J. Murphy, Sr., age 85, of Franklinville, NJ, passed away on May 29, 2025.
Ed was self-employed in the construction business. He enjoyed hunting, his tractors, tractor & farm shows, telling stories, meeting & making new friends wherever he went.

Beloved husband of the late Doris A. Murphy (nee Heggan). Devoted father of Cheryl Ledgerwood (Scott) and Edwin J. Murphy, Jr. (Sarah). Loving grandfather of Heather Ledgerwood, Jeffrey Ledgerwood (Pamela), Jared Ledgerwood (Courtney), and Skyler Murphy. Cherished great grandfather of James "Scooter" Ledgerwood, Cheyenne Ledgerwood, Grace Ledgerwood & Avery Ledgerwood. Dear brother of the late Raymond E. Murphy Jr. (Nancy), Lawrence Murphy Sr. (Barbara), & Bonnie Abel (Harry)
