Elizabeth Long (Betsy) (née Lally) 78, of Deptford, NJ went home to be with the Lord on December 24, 2022.

Betsy was born in Philadelphia, PA, and lived there for 58 years before moving to NJ with her family.

Beloved wife of the late Branson, loving mother of Helen, Liz Morrison (Steve) and Susan Argentieri; grandmother of Suzie, Katie, Marc, Robert, and Christine; sister in law of Cookie Lally (late Thomas E Lally) Survived by many nieces and nephews.

In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling, crafting, ceramics, and vacationing with friends. Her interests later in life included photography, shopping, gardening, traveling and birdwatching.

Betsy was a beautiful soul that loved family time, enjoyed everyone she met, and found great joy and gratitude in the simple things in life. She demonstrated immense bravery, strength and positivity through her 7 year battle with cancer. Betsy loved many things including the Christmas season, anything Disney, Hallmark movies, and most especially, her furry companions, Madison and Indie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory may be made to K9s for Warriors, the nation's largest provider of service dogs for veterans at k9sforwarriors.org.

Services are being held privately at the request of the family.
