Francis Schemeley, age 53, of Franklinville, NJ passed away suddenly on March 20, 2022.

Francis was born in Elmer, NJ, on January 17, 1969, and grew up in Williamstown until he met his wife, Barbara. Francis spent his life devoted to his wife, kids, grandkids, and his entire family. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed fishing with his wife late at night and being out on the lake with his son. Some of his best memories were hunting with his brothers and son. There was always a story to be told when with Francis. He enjoyed listening to music daily and always sharing it with his family. He was a "go-to" man who was always ready to help no matter any situation. He was a jack-of-all-trades kind of guy, there wasn't anything he didn't know how to fix. From laying carpet to concrete, he was capable of anything. Francis spent years working with family but was always around to lend a hand to anyone without hesitation.  Every morning, he enjoyed sitting outside with his coffee and cigarettes.  Francis was good for an early morning call to his kids and would somehow get them for another pack.  Francis enjoyed trips with his daughter and son-in-law to get anything she asked. Francis was a family man who loved everyone he met. He could talk his way out of anything and always made you laugh while doing it. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching his history and hunting channels, movies with his wife and grandkids, and sending everyone his new finds on TikTok.  Francis read his bible daily and enjoyed sharing the verses he loved.

Francis is survived by his devoted wife of 32 years, Barbara Schemeley (nee Filachek).  His daughter, Tiffany Cross (Joseph) and son, Frank Schemeley (Taylor). Nephew, Anthony Mclean. Six grandchildren, Addison, Frankie, and Ella Schemeley, and Callie, Joseph, and Jase Cross.  Brothers, Joseph Schemeley (Lorraine), Victor Schemeley (Karen).  Sisters, Victoria Schemeley, Rosie Marie Hudson (the late Earl), and Danna Carty (Brian).  He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Francis was predeceased by his beloved parents, Marie Schemeley and Edward Schemeley. Brothers, Edward, Johnny, Tony, and Dana Schemeley.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday, March 26 ^th from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, NJ, where a service will be held at 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow in Brotherhood Cemetery, Williamstown.
