George F. Donahue, age 93, a long-time resident of Franklinville, NJ, passed away on October 19, 2025.

Mr. Donahue proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War.  After the service, he had a 50-year career with the Penn Central Railroad.  An avid fisherman and boater, he found peace on the water.  He also had a true green thumb and enjoyed gardening.

Beloved husband of 75 years to Alice M. Donahue (nee Dillin).  Devoted father of Linda Markiewicz (Walter), George Donahue, and Carol Silipena.  Loving grandfather of Andrea Silipena, Jennifer Elenbark (Austin), Thomas Markiewicz and great grandfather of Ryan and Mason Elenbark.  Dear brother of Mary Smith (the late William) and the late John Donahue.  He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his graveside service on Thursday, October 23rd at 11:00 AM at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 240 N. Tuckahoe Road, Williamstown, NJ.
