George A. Ferguson, age 85, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on December 31, 2025.

Raised in Chester, PA, George resided in Pitman, NJ and Port Orange, FL, before settling in Williamstown.  George was a proud US Army veteran.  He worked as a welder and rigger at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard for many years before retiring.  He had a passion for karate, was a 5th degree blackbelt, and also a respected karate instructor.  George was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.

Beloved husband of over 60 years to Sharon A. Ferguson (nee McFerrin).  Devoted father of Ruthann Louglin, Denise Leeds, Deborah Lindley (Jay), the late Teresa Ferguson and the late Lynn Borders.  Loving grandfather of 21 and great grandfather of 11.  Dear brother of the late Ralph Ferguson, Jr. and John Ferguson (Juanita).  He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, February 28th from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM.  Inurnment will follow in the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
