George A. Gipson, Jr., 94, formerly of Blackwood, NJ, passed away on August 11, 2022.  He formerly lived in Hoboken, NJ and North Bergen, NJ and most recently lived at New Jersey's Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland, NJ.

Mr. Gipson was a US Navy veteran of World War II.  He was an owner / auto mechanic at Gipson and Sons Gas Station and Repair Shop in Jersey City before retiring.

Beloved husband of the late Jean F. Gipson (nee Ising).  Devoted father of George Gipson III, and Keith Gipson (Eileen).  Dear brother of James, Blanche (also known as Mickey), the late Kitty, the late Eugene, the late Beatty, the late Dottie, the late Thelma and the late Polly. Loving grandfather of Cassandra, Thomas, Suzanne, Nicholas, Michael and Kelly. Treasured great grandfather of Dean.
