George H. Watson, age 71, of Largo, FL, formerly of Voorhees Twp., NJ, passed away on August 9th 2026.

George was a devoted family man whose greatest joy in life was the time he spent with the people he loved. Family was everything. He cherished family reunions, where he could get together with everyone, share stories and make memories. He had a love for traveling and appreciated visiting new places. He found peace in the beauty of the outdoors and could often be found enjoying the beach, fishing, spending time in nature, or taking walks through the park. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Beloved husband of Catherine L. Watson (Hutchinson). Devoted father of Jennifer Bitting (Joe), Eric Watson (Ashley). Loving step-father of John Phillips, David Phillips (Chelsie) and William Phillips. Cherished brother of Lance Watson (Joyce), Laurie Moser (Steve), Elizabeth Brooks, Brian Watson (Denise), Jeffrey Watson (Wendy) David Watson (Jennifer) and the late Michael Watson (Jean). Dear grandfather of Addison, Alex, Alyssa, Desiree, Delanie and Drake. George is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, August 14th, 2026, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, NJ., 08094. A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place privately.
