Gerard W. Groom, Jr., age 49, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on October 3, 2026.

Born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia, he resided there before moving to Williamstown. He had a love for sports, especially football and basketball, and was a proud Philadelphia Eagles fan. Gerard had a wonderful sense of humor and could always bring a smile and laughter to those around him. He also had a passion for adding to his impressive sneaker collection.

He loved taking day trips and vacations, making memories with loved ones. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family and had a special love for the family dog, Fiona.

Beloved son of Gerard W. Groom, Sr. and the late Judy Groom (nee Hardcastle). Loving brother of Catherine “Katie” Kupetz (Greg) and Jennifer Neveil (Brian). Cherished uncle of Ryan, Zachary, Jacob, Logan, his goddaughter Megan, and Peter. Dear nephew of Christine Groom. He is also survived by many loving cousin, friends and neighbors.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, October 9th from 10:30 – 11:30 AM, at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, NJ, where a memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM.
