Hannah P. Settelen (nee May), age 80, of Glassboro, NJ, passed away on November 25, 2024.

Born in Camden, NJ, Hannah lived in Pitman and West Deptford for many years, before settling in Glassboro in 2014.  Hannah started her work career at age 14 in her grandfather's sub shop in Philadelphia; she later worked at a sweater mill, Philco Ford, and retired as a vinyl casement manufacturer for Superior Aluminum Windows in Collingswood.  In her younger years, she enjoyed her time spent rollerskating, drives to the Jersey shore, visiting the drive-up movies, being in the drama club and church choir.

She enjoyed dancing, singing, taking trips to the casino, her many trips to ShopRite, and was known to cook for her family and friends.  She loved watching shows, especially NCIS, Long-Lost Family and loved watching movies; especially Gone with the Wind and anything Madea.

Above all, she cherished her time spent with family and gift giving, especially at Christmas time.

Dear daughter of the late Ellsworth and Senora May.  Beloved wife of the late James J. Settelen, Sr.  Devoted mother of Shelly Matkowsky (Scott), Paula Waddington (Daniel) and James Settelen, Jr. (Eleanor).  Loving grandmother of Stephen, Hannah, Tarra and Amanda.  Loving great-grandmother of Giavonna, Ava, and Glen.  Dear sister of Ellsworth May (Susan), Robert May (Cindy), Florence Harris (the late John), the late Senora Bartholomew (Don), and the late Lucinda Kines (the late Nathaniel).  She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, December 2nd from 9:30 – 11:30 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a service will be held at 11:30 AM.  Burial will follow in Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
