Irene Rose Simone (nee Schmidt), age 61, of Blackwood, NJ, passed away on November 14, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

Irene enjoyed crocheting, putting together puzzles, doing arts and crafts, and singing to her children and grandchildren.  She loved to find a good sale, whether it was a trip to Walmart or going on yard sale adventures.  She had an interest in collecting quarters, a hobby she shared with her grandson who is also her godson, Steven), and most recently watching her favorite shows; Gilmore Girls and Little House on the Prairie.

Beloved wife of Roger C. Simone.  Devoted mother of Roger Jr. (Tania), Ricky (Stephanie), Randy Sr. (Jackie), Rose Irene Scott (Steven Sr.), Ryan Sr. (Elizabeth), Robert (Jennifer Lynn).   Loving grandmother of Isabella Rose, Jacqueline Simone (Isaiah), Randy Jr., Giavanna Rose, Samantha, Steven Jr., Gabriella, Ryan Jr., Anthony, Adriana, Emma, Cheyenne, Riley, Hailie Jade, Salvatore, Angelo, and Xavier. Treasured daughter of the late Dora Rose Schmidt.  Dear sister of Debbie Seddon (Mike), Mary Indiveri (Vince), and Carmen Schmidt (the late Ginger).  She is also survived by her beloved fur-baby, MJ, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, November 19 ^th from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 PM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 362 Ganttown Rd., Turnersville, NJ.
