Jaye P. Simon, of Gloucester City, NJ, age 65, passed away on April 2, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Burlington, VT, Jaye lived in Cherry Hill before moving to Gloucester City.

Jaye worked in security for Live Nation and had a love for music and attending concerts.  She enjoyed gardening, the beach and sun.  Above all, she treasured her time spent with her grandchildren and husband.

Beloved wife of John States.  Devoted mother of Jennifer Donnelly (Tim) and Robert Knecht (Ashley).  Loving grandmother of Kaitlyn Knecht, Joey Patrizio, Liam Donnelly, Angelina Knecht, Gracie Donnelly, and Robert Knecht, II.  Dear sister of Jeff Simon (Susan) and the late John Simon.  She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, April 15th from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Agnes Church, 701 Little Gloucester Rd., Blackwood.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM.
