John J. Bennett, Sr., 55, a lifelong resident of Clayton, NJ, on July 29, 2014.
Beloved husband of Monica M. Bennett. Devoted father of Cherylann,
John, Jr. (wife Joey), Josephine, Lauren, Donald and Steven. Loving son of Joan Bennett (nee Hofbauer) and the late Frederick Bennett, Sr. Dear brother of Linda, Fred, Jr., Veronica (Greg), Theresa and Mary (Bill). Loving grandfather of Nicholas, Gina, Rocco, Richie and Antoinette. Dear God father of Melissa (Todd). Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and his faithful companion Dixie.
Services are being held privately.
