John A. Capotosti, age 76, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on October 28, 2024. Born and raised in Trenton, he has lived in Williamstown for 47 years.
John was a graduate of Cathedral High School in Trenton, NJ, Class of 1966. He continued his education at King's College in Wilkes-Barre, PA, where he received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. John worked for the United States Postal Service for 36 years, beginning his career in Princeton as a clerk and carrier, retiring in 2010 as Postmaster from Glendora Post Office. He enjoyed golfing, day trips to the beach, traveling, was an avid sports fan and a NASA enthusiast. John also had his private pilots license and had a passion for flying.
Beloved husband of 52 years to Eileen M. Capotosti (nee Suydam). Devoted father of Karen Capotosti and Andrea Watson (Drew). Dear brother of the late Patricia Thompson (Gerald) and twin brother David Capotosti (Sherry). Loving grandfather of Jared, Michael, Mckenna, Carter and Connor. Loving son of the late Aldo Capotosti and the late Genevieve Capotosti. Also survived by his granddogs Cozmo and Zoey.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, November 8th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and Saturday, November 9th from 9:30 – 11:00 am at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am at St. Mary's Church / Our Lady of Peace Parish, S. Main Street and Carroll Ave., Williamstown. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Franklin Twp.
