John S. Chmielewski, III, of Williamstown, NJ, formerly of Parsippany, NJ, age 63, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2022.

John was a loving son, husband, father, godfather, uncle and friend. He was born in Jersey City, NJ and lived in Parsippany before moving to Williamstown in 2006.  John worked as a landscaper for 42 years.  His work was not only his job but his passion.   A funny man, John had a quick-wit and loved to make you laugh.  He loved watching sports, especially his New York teams, the Giants and the Mets.  In his spare time, he enjoyed building model trucks, maintaining his lawn and his fish tank.  He was also a gifted carpenter, and his family could always count on him to help them with projects.

John was predeceased by his father John S. Chmielewski, Jr.  He is survived by his loving wife, Donna (nee Dudek), devoted daughter Kristen Bruno (Anthony), loving mother, Barbara Chmielewski, and treasured brother, Andrew Chmielewski (Laura). John is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and great nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewings on Monday, January 17 ^th from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a service will follow at 8:00 PM.
