John A. DeSanta, age 85, a lifelong resident of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on August 22, 2025.

Mr. DeSanta served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany before being honorably discharged.  He worked as a brick layer for many years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and tinkering in the yard.

Beloved husband of 64 years to Karin M. DeSanta (nee Schafer).  Devoted father of Karen Harris (David),  Jo Ann "Jo Jo" McCullough (Paul) and John "Johnny" DeSanta (Becky).  Dear brother of Henry DeSanta, the late Tom DeSanta, the late Rose DeSanta, the late Victor DeSanta and the late Marie Schemeley.  Loving son of the late Joseph and Theresa DeSanta.  Loving grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to his graveside military honors on Thursday, August 28th at 10:30 am at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 240 N. Tuckahoe Road, Williamstown, NJ.
