Obituary

John M. "Jack" Jansen, 68, of Berlin, NJ, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Jack later made his home in Berlin. He dedicated many years of his life as Director of Respiratory Therapy at Aristacare at Meadow Springs, PA, where his commitment and compassion left a lasting impact on colleagues. Jack's work was truly his passion, and he found deep purpose in serving others.

Outside of his professional life, Jack loved spending time at the beach and had a deep affection for his dogs—Jake, who predeceased him, and Molly, his faithful companion. His warmth, wit, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Jack was the beloved husband of the late Dennis M. Smith; devoted son of the late Martin V. Jansen, Sr. and Elaine Jansen (née Gavin); Dear brother of the late Martin V. Jansen, Jr. (Kathleen); cherished uncle to Katie Conway (Chris), Greg Jansen (Traci), and Jeff Jansen (Maria). He was also a proud great-uncle to Olivia, Penelope, Isabella, and Augie. Jack leaves behind many loving friends and coworkers who became like family.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, July 18th from 10:00-11:00 AM at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM.  He will be laid to rest privately at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
