John M. Matkowsky, age 67, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on March 6, 2026.

John was a hard worker and very passionate about his career in concrete work.  He was a very generous and giving man.  He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan.  He loved his family and enjoyed collecting and saving things for his grandbabies and giving them "Pop Pop dollars".

Beloved husband of 48 years to Laurel A. Matkowsky (nee Rainier).  Devoted father of Kristen Matkowsky (Ryan Toogood) and Michael Matkowsky (Jennifer).  Loving Pop Pop of Madison Toogood, Hailey Toogood, Michael Matkowsky and Nicholas Matkowsky.  Loving son of Elaine Matkowsky and the late Stephen Matkowsky.  Dear brother of Kathleen Matkowsky, Scott Matkowsky, David Matkowsky, Rachel Matkowsky, Sarah Robinson (David) and the late Stephen Matkowsky.  He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday, March 11th from 10:00 – 11:30 am at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a service will be held at 11:30 am.
