John Senese, 80, passed away on May 17, 2026, after a long illness, having been surrounded by the love of his family in his final days.

Born in Philadelphia, John lived in Pennsauken and Washington Township before settling in at Holiday City in Williamstown.

A proud veteran of the United States Navy, he served from 1964 to 1968, a chapter he carried with pride always. He went on to build a long career at Sears Service Center, retiring after a remarkable 43 years of dedicated service.

A devoted Catholic, John drew strength from his faith throughout his life. It was a steady foundation that guided him in all things and gave him peace.

The center of John's life was his family. He and his wife, Monica, shared 56 years of marriage and a love that gave them many wonderful years together. John loved to cruise, and those trips, with Monica and with family, were among his favorite memories.

Handy and dependable, John could fix almost anything put in front of him, and he was always ready to lend a hand to family, friends, and neighbors alike. He was a wonderful grandfather, and time with his grandchildren brought him some of the happiest moments of his life.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Monica, his daughter, Anita Moore (Jeremy); his son, John V.; and his daughter, Regina Bradley. He also leaves behind his three cherished grandchildren, Connor, Sophia and Tyler.  He is also survived by his sisters, Rita and Angie and many cousins, nieces and nephews whom he loved.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday, May 21st from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM at St. Mary's Church / Our Lady of Peace Parish, Williamstown.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Williamstown.
