John S. Wilson, age 74, of Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of Sicklerville, NJ, passed away on March 11th, 2024.

John was not only a pillar of strength and guidance for his community, but a devoted father, grandfather, and friend to all who had the privilege of knowing him.  He served his country with honor and bravery, leaving behind a legacy of courage, compassion, and dedication.  John was a proud US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, where he was awarded a Purple Heart and Bronze Star Medal.

He later served with the Knights of Columbus and was deeply engaged with the VFW, serving as chaplain for his local VFW post.

Beloved son of the late Paul Wilber Wilson and the late Ellanor I. Wilson (nee Sargent).  Devoted father of Drew Wilson, his wife Madison, and Alex Wilson, and his wife Nikki.  Loving grandfather of Ellie and Graham.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service on Thursday, April 18th at 11:00 AM at the Camden County Veterans Cemetery, 1640 Haddon Avenue, Camden, NJ.
