Joseph D. Ryder, age 63, of Mullica Hill, NJ, passed away on February 15, 2022.
Joseph was born in Camden, NJ to the late Frederick Ryder and Angela Ryder (nee Delia). He lived in Paulsboro and Runnemede before settling in Mullica Hill. He graduated from Triton High School in Runnemede. In his younger years, Joe was very athletic. At one time, he was a wrestling state champion. He also enjoyed playing football, weightlifting, and going canoeing with his family. Joe was extremely ambitious and full of drive; his work was his true-life passion. He owned and operated Aqua Industries, which he built from the ground up in the late 80's. When he wasn't working, he could be found fishing, at the shore, going to car shows, working on his classic cars, and driving his GTO. Above all else, Joe loved nothing more than to spend time with his family.
Devoted father of Ethan Ryder and Stephanie Hamilton (Chris). Treasured brother of the late Frederick, Jr., Diane Faulls (David), Rosemary Kullman (Steve), and the late Robert, Sr. Dear uncle of Robert King (Stevie Lynn), Jill Manga (Neil), Steven Kullman (Miranda) and Robert Ryder, Jr. Grandfather of Tanner Hamilton. Lifelong friend of Brenda Stevenson. Joe is also survived by a large loving extended family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Friday, February 25 th from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, NJ, where a celebration of life service will be held at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hurffville, NJ.
