July 26, 1941 – September 23, 2025

Joseph L. Vezza, Sr., 84, of Clayton, GA, and formerly of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on September 23, 2025.

Joe was a member of Construction and General Laborers' Union Local 172 of South Jersey, working in heavy construction for over 40 years.  He was a 62-year member of the Williamstown Fire Company, where he formerly served as Vice President.  He served as a Monroe Township Councilman and as a member of the Monroe Township Board of Education.  When not working, Joe enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and tending to his vegetable garden.

Beloved husband of Doris Edwards Vezza, and father to Jeana Davi (late Steven, Sr.) and Joseph Jr.  He was a very proud grandfather to Steven Davi, Jr. (Shannon) and great-grandfather to Steven and Sophia.  Joe is also survived by his brother Anthony "Sonny" Vezza, Jr. (Carol) and his sister Jeanette Young (late Frank).  He was predeceased by his parents Anthony Sr. and Mary Vezza, as well as his sisters Emma Bergey (late Sam) and Rosemarie Simei (late Francis).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Thursday, October 9th from 9:30 – 11:00 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main St. Williamstown, NJ, where a service will be held at 11:00 AM.  Inurnment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Williamstown.
