Karen L. Steese (nee Couden), 79, of Sicklerville, NJ, passed away on February 2, 2022.

Born in Newark, OH, she lived in Williamstown, NJ before moving to Sicklerville.  Karen worked as a nurse's aide for Kennedy Health Center in Sewell, NJ before retiring.  She had a vivacious laugh, was affectionally known as "Friday", and loved spending time with her family.  She enjoyed cooking, reading, and watching the Flyers.

Devoted mother of Timithy Steese (Cheryl), Thomas Steese (Joyce), Margaret Fordyce, and Marcella Prisco (Frank). Loving "Friday" of Gregory, Rebecca (Raymond), Bradley (Fiancé Nicole), Joshua (Carrie), Keshia, Kimberly, Jeremy, and Marysa.  She is also survived by a host of great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandson, Matthew Steese.  She is also survived by her devoted companion, Richard Poole.

Services are being held privately at the request of the family.
