Kenneth D. Morrell, age 79, of Turnersville, NJ, passed away on May 28, 2024.

Ken was born in Philadelphia on May 20, 1945, raised in Barrington, was a graduate of Haddon Heights High School 1965 and a proud U.S. Army Veteran, service from 1965-67, serving mostly at Ft. Hamilton, NY as NCOIC of a U.S. Army Honor Guard detail performing military funerals. Most funerals were for personnel killed in action in Vietnam. Ken carried a heavy burden for the rest of his life due to his military duty and never stopped thinking of those who made the ultimate sacrifice. He worked in the maintenance department for Camden Co. Technical Institute in Sicklerville for many years.  After retiring, he worked at Zallies ShopRite in Williamstown.  He attended Open Bible Baptist Church in Williamstown.

Loving companion, soul mate, and dance partner of Carol Damiano.  Loving father of Kevin Morrell (Becky) of Chattanooga, TN. and Kristen Morrell of Turnersville.  Loving grandfather of Thomas Morrell, Kayla Morrell, Taylor Barber, and John Barber of Chattanooga, and Mason Padulese of Turnersville. Dear brother of Robert M. Morrell (Cheryl) of Gloucester.  Nephew of John "Sonny" Reis of Mays Landing.  He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and his lifelong buddies KJ, Jimmy, and Barry. Ken will be missed at Rexy's happy hour with his pals.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Wednesday, June 5th from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown.  Inurnment will follow in the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
