Lamarr D. "Bo" Burkert, Sr., 82, of Lake Whales, FL, passed away on June 30, 2021.  Born in Fleetwood, PA he grew up in Bellmawr, NJ and lived in Williamstown, NJ before moving to Lake Whales, FL.

Mr. Burkert was a sheet metal worker for SMW Union Local #19 in Philadelphia before retiring.  He was a founding member of the Turkey Federation, a member of the 4-H Club and was a member of several hunting & gun clubs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting and watching NASCAR.  He loved spending time with his family, the most important thing to him.

Beloved husband of the late Catherine Burkert (nee Hofbauer).  Devoted father of Bernadette Burkert, Charles Burkert (Robin), Catherine Kirkendoll (Scott) and the late Lamarr "Butch" Burkert, Jr.  Dear brother of Vivian Blotter, William Burkert and the late Kenneth Burkert.  Loving grandfather of Samantha Reid (Steven), Amber Blatt (Jeff), Kelsey Parsio (Tony), Scott Kirkendoll (Sara), Jillian Burkert, Bryan Burkert, Dylan Blatt, Shaun Blatt, William Burkert, Kyle Burkert and Haley Burkert.  Loving great-grandfather of Isla, Stevie, Spencer, Anthony and Regina.  Also survived by his great neighbors and friends Pam and Kevin Karcher.

Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial celebration on Sunday, July 18 ^th at 3:00 pm at 1149 Blue Bell Road, Williamstown, NJ.
