Obituary

Lori Ann Cento, age 61, of Berlin, NJ, passed away suddenly on August 24, 2021.

We mourn the loss of Lori Ann Cento.  An incredible mother to Jaymi and Elyssa, a devoted Mimi to Cecilia, a thoughtful friend; a strong woman with an admirable spirit.

Lori was one of a kind, generous, honest, decisive, and determined.

Born in Bronx, New York, to Rocco Cento and Alma Zeolla Cento.  She was one of six. She graduated from Herbert H. Lehman.  She was described as funny and easy to talk to.  Some of her best days were hanging out in the courtyard (where all the boys liked her), ski trips, and summers in Wildwood that ultimately lead her to move to South Jersey.

She went on to become a badass single mom who devoted her life to her two daughters. When asked how she did it she said, "I don't remember being tired, I just did what I had to for my girls."

Lori was creative and artistic.  From DIY home improvement to Halloween Costumes and has created some of the ugliest of all ugly Christmas sweaters.

Lori had strong opinions and a fire that never dulled. She fought for everything she had and never gave up.

We thank her for her life sacrifices, her love, and her strength. Every day we hope to honor her memory by always carrying her best qualities within us.

No-one will ever love us the way you do, thank you Mom.  We love you forever!

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday, August 31st from 10:30 – 11:30 AM at St. Simon Stock Parish/Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 178 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM.  Burial will follow in Waterford Memorial Park Cemetery.
