Lorraine M. Scott (nee Lutter), affectionately known as Aunt Lorraine to many, age 103, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on August 4, 2021. Born in Philadelphia, she has lived in Williamstown since 1953.
Born on June 23, 1918, she graciously lived through the pandemics of 1918 and 2020. She enjoyed crocheting, was a dedicated caregiver and was a member of the Williamstown Chapter #149 Order of the Eastern Star. Lorraine lived a wonderful 103 years. During her working days, she was very proud to have been an invisible mender in a sewing company working on uniforms for World War II Army soldiers.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband William Scott and son, William Scott, Jr., siblings Marion Russo and Irvin Lutter. She is survived by her loving and dedicated son, Ronald W. Scott and daughter in law Doretta. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday, August 10th from 10:00-11:30 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a service will be held at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Williamstown.
