Obituary

Louis Paul Fratta, age 79, of Sicklerville, NJ, passed away peacefully at home holding his wife's hand on November 21, 2022.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was raised in Deptford and lived in Williamstown and White Haven, PA, before moving to Sicklerville. Lou worked as a Lab Technician for E.I. DuPont for many years before retiring at the ripe old age of 49 to pursue his true vocation – living life.
Lou Fratta was a multitude of things. His infectious love of the outdoors made him a teacher and mentor. He introduced scores of friends and family to hunting, fishing, and all the wonders of nature and was a member of the W.E. Kresge Hunting Club in White Haven, PA and a lifetime NRA member. He was also a caregiver. Lou served as a Trustee Chairman for the Pocono Lake United Methodist Church. But it was his simpler ways of taking care of people through food and companionship that will be remembered most. He was a role model to anyone who believes in seizing every day and an example for how kindness can change the world. But in the end, simply put, Lou was a good and generous man whose life was well lived and whose impact will stretch on for generations.
Beloved husband of Shirley R. Fratta (nee Willson). Devoted father of Louis B. Fratta (the late Karen), Traci Hinkle (Don) and Jill Iovino (Lou). Loving grandfather of Craig Fratta, Louis C. Fratta (Gabriella), Joshua Hinkle, Benjamin Iovino, Skylar Hinkle, and Charlie Iovino. Loving great grandfather of Archie Fratta. Dear brother of the late Frank Fratta. Cherished uncle of Frank Fratta (Janice), Bill Fratta, the late John Fratta (Kathy), and Jim Fratta (Janet) and many great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, November 25th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church, 159 S. Main Street, Williamstown, where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM. The service will also be live streamed through the church website
