Marie Schemeley (nee DeSanta), age 87, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on February 8, 2022.

Marie was a former member of Williamstown Assembly of God Church for many years. She enjoyed playing her organ and you could always find her watching an old episode of Gunsmoke. Her favorite movie was always Wuthering Heights. Marie adored her family and loved spending time with them.

Beloved wife of the late Edward J. Schemeley.  Devoted mother of Joseph Schemeley (Lorraine), Victoria Schemeley, Rosemarie Hudson (the late Earl), Victor Schemeley (Karen), Danna Carty (Brian), Francis Schemeley (Barbara) Predeceased by her children, Edward Schemeley, John Schemeley, Dana Schemeley and Anthony Schemeley. Dear sister of Henry DeSanta, John DeSanta, the late Tom DeSanta, the late Rosemary DeSanta and the late Victor DeSanta. Grandmother of Chrissy, Joey, Joellen, Danny, Jennifer, Samantha, Victor, Dana, Kyleigh, Tiffany, Frankie and Anthony. Marie is also survived by many loving great and great-great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, February 14th, from 10:00 AM -11:00 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, NJ, where a service will be held at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Williamstown.
